Who am I in Christ? What does the bible say about Who I am in Christ Jesus? How does God see me? How does Jesus think about me?

I am a new creation

I was created for good works
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light

Today many people think that grace is a license to sin. That they do not have to do any good works because they are saved by grace.

I am chosen
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9
I am not here by chance. No, I refuse to believe and listen to those lies. I am not here by coincidence.

I am a child of God
For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God, through faith.
Galatians 3:26

So everything is a creation of God. But not everyone is a child of God.
But I am a child of God. God is my father. He is my daddy.
I received Jesus as my Lord and Saviour of my life and the Who am I in Christ verses say that because of this I have gained a right to be a child of God.

I am a friend of God
No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

And raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:6

I serve a God who is called Jireh- meaning he will supply and provide for all that I desire.
Whatever I need to live he will provide. By faith and trust in God, I know that God is sitting on the throne working everything out for my good.
I know that God being my shepherd I will not want. I don’t care what the situation looks like right now.
All that is a lie. The only truth is that he will supply all my needs according to the riches of his glory.
