How a Spiritual Husband brought me back to JESUS

My Spiritual Husband Testimony.

I never imagined encountering a Spiritual husband in my life. I had always heard people talk about a spirit spouse, spirit husband and so forth. But I never believed that it was real. And that it could also happen to me.

Having been living a compromised lifestyle as a lukewarm Christian. Who enjoyed the best of both worlds. With a one foot in the world, one foot in the word type of lifestyle. I had sex before marriage because i thought I was already saved. So I was under grace. Not going to hell. 

The effects of sexual sin

I thought God was too mean to expect me to live a morally upright life. Who could live a life like that? A life without fun. Aaargghhh!! The concept of a Holy and righteous life seemed boring to me. After all You only live once right?

My thinking was that OK, let me enjoy my life now. YOLO right? When I am older, I will then settle down. And practise living a holy life. After I had done it all. No regrets.

I didn’t know that God only wants what is best for us. Even telling us not to sin is for our own good. You may be rolling your eyes thinking- HOW?? I know. I did too.

Sin opens the door to the devil

But I will tell you.  Sin opens the door to the devil. It gives the devil a legal right to torment us. Immorality of any kind gives demons access to our lives. When we sin we allow the devil to also torment us.

Why do you think the devil always tempts us with sin? He wants us to sin so that he can torment us. Because he hates us remember! God is just. And when that door is open, it’s open. The demons can have a party with you. They have a legal right.

When God says to live a blameless life, it’s to protect us from the devil. When you are living a righteous lifestyle, the devil has no claim on you. Of course as people we sin all the time. Through pride, judgement and so forth. And God’s mercy covers unintentional sin. But when we live in deliberate and wilful sin, we are in trouble. 

So, here is what my intentional sin led me to. A spiritual husband!! Worst experience of my life. But also, what the devil meant for my harm became my saving grace.

Because of my experience, I now hate sin because of what it did to me. I will never do anything to give the devil any legal right over my life again. Never!! Not on my watch!! Way to go devil. Lesson learnt.

What is a spiritual husband?

A spiritual husband is a demonic spirit that comes to you in your dreams. This demon is also called incubus. Incubus is a demon that manifests as a spiritual husband that attacks women. Succubus is the female version that attacks men. And has sex with you in your dreams. Most of this is non consensual sex.

This man comes in different forms. It could be a faceless shadow. Or a face of someone that you know. Like your husband, boyfriend or even your ex. or even a face of someone you fantasise about.

Sex with a spiritual husband often feels more enjoyable than real sex. Most women have orgasmic experiences in their dreams when they are being attacked by this demon. Something they may not even experience in physical intercourse.

The devil is a liar even in sin. He tries to lie to you that this is the best you will ever get. This spiritual husband usually comes between midnight and the early hours of the morning.

When he comes the victims usually undergo some sort of sleep paralysis and are unable to move. Or scream. They are trapped as they watch him have his way. Some women claim to actually physically feel something coming in their bed while they are awake and alert. Other extreme cases are when this demon attacks you in the afternoon. In broad daylight.

Causes of a Spiritual husband

There are many things that cause a spiritual husband to torment you but I will share some that are attributed to my own experience.

Masturbation

This is a very dangerous thing that is underrated. People think that masturbation is safe and better than adultery. But it has some very dangerous effects in the spiritual realm. When you masturbate you open the doors to the sexually perverted demons, to come and be on the other other side of the act spiritually.

Most of us don’t even realise this, but to me this was one of the reasons why I encountered a spiritual husband.

Masturbation. I had bought a sex toy. And immediately after I started using it, I started having these dreams.Masturbation may seem harmless but causes some serious effects in the spirit.

Pornography

Pornography , sex magazines, going to sex clubs, orgies and all sorts of sexually immoral acts are an open door to a spiritual husband. When we do these things we don’t know what we are doing. Until we see these effects manifesting. 

Pornography is not harmless. It’s dangerous. Please be careful what you let in through your eye gates.

Fornication aka sleeping around

I also attribute fornication to my attack by a spiritual husband. At that time, I was in a relationship with a man who had been with a woman of an alternative lifestyle.

He had even participated in things like orgies, three ways and so forth. Back then I was a babe in the spirit.I didn’t know anything. But I learnt the hard way. Now I know that demons can be passed on through sex.

Yes sexual demons can be sexually transmitted. This happened to me. No joke. So please be careful who you join yourself to in the physical because it will also manifest in the spiritual realm.

Generational curses

This happens when there is a generational curse among the women in a particular bloodline. You will find that the mother, daughter, grandmother even the grand daughter will be tormented by a spiritual husband if these curses are not severed.

The curse may be that all the women belong to or were dedicated to some spirit. And they all experience the same attacks. We need the Holy Spirit to discern the root cause of these things if we are to be set free.

Witchcraft

In this case, some men who will be lusting over you in real life take this opportunity to have sex with you in your dream. They use spells to gain access to you if there are open doors in your life. Witchcraft works only when there are open doors that give them permission through practising sin.

If you are leading a blameless life, witchcraft can not stick. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. This is another reason to lead a blameless life. You will withstand witchcraft attacks.

Symptoms / Effects of a Spiritual husband

For someone to finally realise that they may have a Spiritual husband and that they need deliverance there are symptoms that they will have encountered. I will share with you guys just a few of what I experienced.

Marital issues for married women

The spirit husband is so jealous that he always causes drama and problems between its victim and their spouse. So that they get divorced and she is left completely his. The victim will not even enjoy sex with her husband since the demon takes away all her feelings. Endless quarrels and general problems are a characteristic as well. These victims feel trapped and unhappy in their marriages. Usually they are always annoyed by their husbands. That is spiritual warfare at place.

If this is happening to you, its most likely a spiritual husband causing chaos in your life. Pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you. And the truth shall set you free.

Inability to keep a stable relationship for single women

For most of his victims, the women present as old (its spiritual), undesirable women such that no man desires to be in a relationship with them. You will wonder why you are so beautiful but no man wants to talk to you or have any type of romantic relationship with you. It’s because of the spiritual husband. Men look at the victim and just see an undesirable woman.

This is a way to keep you to themselves.

So if you are in a similar situation where you think your lack of marriage or a stable romantic relationship is abnormal, it may indeed be spiritual. But God.. The Holy Spirit can reveal this to you and set you free.

Stagnation in everything that you do

A spiritual husband causes everything in your life to fail. Jobs, success, career, family. Some people try everything but they seem to be in a rut.

It could be a spiritual husband causing that stagnation. Remember that the devil is a thief. This is why when you get deliverance you must declare that whatever these demons deposited in you through sex in the dream be destroyed and burnt by the Holy ghost fire. This is because those demonic deposits will cause a lot of problems in your life. Through evil spiritual deposits that are detrimental in your breakthrough.

Barenness

Some women who are tormented with this demon often have trouble conceiving. This is usually because they may already have babies with these demons in the spirit. These babies are a result of sex in the dream. These demons will hold off any positive manifestation of good things in the earthly realm as they own you in the spirit.

Some women who are victims of this incubus spirit dream of having babies in the spirit. They see themselves pregnant, giving birth, nursing babies in their dreams, or seeing the babies cling to them and calling them their mama. These babies may have weird faces or just normal faces. Whichever way, the victims sense this abnormality as they feel that something is not right.

Remember guys, that everything that happens on the earth would have already happened in the spirit. If you are experiencing barenness in marriage you may have a spiritual husband that is witholding your blessings.

Spirit of sexual immorality– sleeping around

A spiritual husband may also cause its victims to sleep around. Remember when doors are open there is no choosing which spirit comes in. Spirits of lust, spirits of destruction may come in and demonise you. Anything to destroy your life and kill you. Remember the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Intercourse with the Spirit spouse may also potentially result in sex addiction. Like the spirit of lust which can give you an unquenchable desire for sex. This will result in the victim sleeping around trying to satisfy that demonic desire to have sex.

But it is all demonic. No amount of sex will satisfy a demonic sex addiction because it’s meant to eventually kill you. Only deliverance will set you free. Hold on, very soon the Holy Spirit will set you free from this demonic bondage.

Guilt, shame and condemnation

I remember vividly that each time i woke up from this nasty dream, I would have utter shame. Even if you don’t know what a spiritual spouse is, when you have a dream of the most intense sexual experience of your life. Possibly having orgasmed, there is just this feeling of being dirty that you can not shake.

Some people may say it is normal and healthy to have sex dreams but when its a spiritual husband you will feel an unease that feels anything but normal and healthy. When it hits you, you will know. It does not matter what the world says to refute this.

I remember I would wake up and my body had physical signs of having had sex. I would feel like I had just had intercourse and the condemnation is unmatched. Even if you do not believe in the spiritual, this experience is enough to make anyone feel unsettled.

Remember the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy. I would subsequently have the most miserable day after this dream. Filled with guilt. He would steal my joy and happiness for that day.

How to divorce a spiritual husband.

After encountering these nasty dreams I knew that enough was enough. And I knew what this thing that was happening to me was. Even if it was definitely my own fault, I knew it was time to end this.

Through the help of the Holy Spirit I was finally set free. I will share with you the 10 tips to divorce a spiritual husband that worked for me. And praise the Lord I am free.

And after reading this, today you too will be free.

Surrender your life to Jesus and stop being lukewarm

Usually, living in sin opens the doors to the spiritual husband. When you want it all to stop you must make a decision to stop living a compromised life. Being a lukewarm christian causes  you to entertain “the little foxes” and these give the devil a legal right. 

When you surrender your life to Jesus, you give Him ALL the power to fight for you. That way you will be too hot for the demons to attack. 

After having had enough I was ready to do whatever it took to be free. I knew that if I surrendered to God with ALL my life He alone would set me free. After all, He had promised me that he will deliver me. That if I completely dedicated my heart to Him, He will clean all the dirty spirits that were tormenting me.

So today, my sisters, is your day of victory. Surrender ALL to him. I promise you, you will see wonders. He will send his angels to protect you like He says is

Repent from all your past sexual immorality

When you want to be free you must repent from all sin- known and unknown. Especially sexual immorality since it is the most common cause of sexual sin.

Throw away all pornographic material, all masturbation toys, magazines and everything else that was opening a door to sin. Pray to God and ask Him to forgive you and that you now want to live a life for him. He is faithful and just to forgive. 

When I did this my life changed. I have never had such peace, such sweet dreams. Today you also can sleep peacefully. God promises protection, joy and favor to those who seek refuge in Him.

Divorce symbolism eg taking off rings, paying a coin, signing a divorce certificate

Different cultures use different symbolisms when divorcing.

Some give a coin, some a garment, some sign a divorce certificate, some return the wedding ring and so forth.

During prayer I suggest that you enact that symbolism. If you want to take off the wedding ring do it in faith. While saying “I divorce you spiritual husband. I never wanted you. Whatever right that you had to torment me is gone because I have repented. Take your ring. It’s over in the name of Jesus. Leave me alone. You have no right over my life anymore.” You will be surprised to see how effective this is.

Be on fire for God – too hot for it to handle and it will flee

When you want to break free from a spiritual husband you must grow spiritually. I remember in my case, I was so spiritually weak that when the man used to come in my dreams, he didn’t force me.

In my case, I actually consented because I was so spiritually compromised that I didn’t know how to discern evil. But thank God I discovered my weakness and started growing my spirit man. I did this through fasting, spending time in the word and praying in the spirit.

Eventually my spirit man was strong enough that when those dreams came I now knew to say No. I knew in my dream that this was from the devil. This is how I overcame. I would rebuke that demon and call him out in the name of Jesus. And y’all already know what happens to evil spirits at the mention of His name. But to get to this level you need to exercise your spirit man muscle.

This is the same way you can disown those spiritual babies. When your spirit grows through fasting and prayer you will be able to resist these babies in the dreams. You will find that you are able to say no to having sex with these men in the dream. You will also tell those babies that , ‘I am not your mother. Leave me alone you children of the devil”. And when you divorce them, I assure you they will be gone forever.

Pray before bed for good night sleep verses

Another method that worked for me to divorce the spiritual husband was meditating and reciting verses before bed. I will share some bible verses to help you sleep at night.

Renounce generation curses

Simple prayers for renouncing generational curses can help to release yourself from bloodline contamination. What worked for me in particular was a simple prayer that says

Break all soul ties between you and anyone you have had sex with

Soul ties are another reason why you can have a spiritual husband. As a way of breaking sou lties literally write down all the names of the partners that you have ever been with. And break the soulties by this simple prayer

Deliverance

This is one of the best and most efficient and completely foolproof methods that can release you from a spiritual husband. You can have anyone do deliverance on you. But first make sure that you repent, renounce and receive. Then you will be free. If you cant find anyone near you to do deliverance you can also try self deliverance. With the Holy Spirit leading anything is possible.

Courts of heaven

Ask the Holy spirit to reveal to you what could have happened in your bloodline to give access to that spiritual husband. When He does, you go before the courts and repent on behalf of your ancestors and then ask God to acquit you from this “crime” or whatever it is that will be giving the devil a right over your life. 

So my dear sisters, I was delivered. The Holy Spirit delivered me. It didn’t seem possible at first. I was always so scared to go to bed but now i sleep like a baby. I pray that you also receive deliverance. In the end, this experience changed my whole life.

It made me recommit my life back to Jesus because i realised that without Him I wouldn’t make it. Now i need the Holy Spirit more than i need oxygen to survive.

Without Him i am weak, vulnerable and exposed. But with His leading I can do All things. My life changed and I am now a better person for it.
